Refund Policy

Our policy lasts 14 days.  If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.  All merchandise must be in original condition, be unaltered, unwashed, and unworn.

Original tags must be attached and receipt is required.  All Clearance Items and Accessories are FINAL SALES.  This includes Jewelry and Gift Certificates.  Shoes must be returned in their original shoe box without damage to the box.

The Chocolate Shoe recommends that you insure packages for tracking merchandise.  We are not responsible for any merchandise that is lost, stolen, or mishandled in the return process.  You are responsible for the shipping and handling of the return item.  Credits will be issued in the form of a store credit only.  Please note in your return whether you want an exchange of merchandise or store credit.

 

REFUND:
We process our returns within 1-2 business days.

After we inspect and process our returns you will receive a cancellation email.

From this point please allow 2-5 business days for your refund to appear on your original form of payment.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)


If you haven’t received a refund and it is after the 5th business day, first check your bank account again. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

EXCHANGES (if applicable):
We don't technically do exchanges because we are unable to guarantee that an item won't be sold out, once your return comes in!  Our policy does not allow us to "hold" online merchandise.  The way we advise customers to go about "exchanging," is to go ahead and purchase the item in the size that you need from the website, like you would usually purchase something, and then send the incorrectly sized item back to us for a full refund.  This way in the end it equals out to an exchange, but you have gotten the item that you need.
